Digitized cultural heritage

With this survey, the German Digital Library aims to determine the challenges cultural heritage institutions face in providing their digital services, their current level of development in this area, their goals, and the support they would like to receive in order to achieve these goals.

The survey is aimed at all employees of German cultural heritage institutions and takes about 10–15 minutes to complete. Participation is possible until March 4, 2026. Regardless of whether an institution is small or large, or whether the work is voluntary or full-time, every response is valuable.

The results will be anonymized and evaluated in aggregate form in order to further develop digital cultural work in Germany in collaboration with the German Digital Library.
