NFDI4Objects Community Meetings

Meet our community!

The annual NFDI4Objects Community Meeting (CM) is the central convention for members of the consortium and the community. The CM offers space for a variety of activities and formats:

Participants are provided with comprehensive updates on the progress of the different Task Areas, Community Clusters, and Temporary Working Groups of NFDI4Objects. In papers and workshops, we present the latest developments of our services and standards. Keynote lectures by research data management (RDM) experts offer inspiring impulses and encourage lively exchange.
Our Poster Marketplace serves as an open forum for the community to present their own topics and initiatives, providing an opportunity to establish valuable connections among everyone interested in RDM.
The Co-Applicant Institutions take turns hosting the CM at different locations.
The CM also offers an ideal opportunity to participate in in-person meetings of Community Clusters and Temporary Working Groups.

The first NFDI4Objects Community Meeting was held from 16–17 November 2023 at the James Simon Gallery in Berlin.

The second Community Meeting took place from 25–27 September 2024 at LEIZA in Mainz.

The third NFDI4Objects Community Meeting will be held from 30 September to 2 October 2025 at the Deutsches Bergbau-Museum in Bochum.

This event will focus on workshops for all experience levels dedicated to the services developed within NFDI4Objects.
