Together towards standards

The Temporary Working Groups (TWGs) of NFDI4Objects are small groups in which interested individuals work on specific research data management questions/issues for a limited period of time. Here standards and services are (further) developed in accordance with the needs of the community. Further information on Temporary Working Groups and their goals can be found here.

Your commitment counts!

In the portal you will find an overview of the NFDI4Objects Temporary Working Groups that have already been set up. If you are interested in participating or if you have any questions, please get in touch with the chairpersons - we look forward to your participation!
Is your specific RDM-question not yet addressed by a Temporary Working Group? You are welcome and supported to set one up yourself!

How do I / how do we set up a Temporary Working Group?

Would you like to work on a clearly defined RDM topic and contribute to the creation of NFDI4Objects Commons? Build up a TWG initiative group together with other interested individuals and prepare the foundation of a Temporary Working Group. The Community Manager and the NFDI4Objects Coordination Office happily support you within the application process.

It is recommended that the content of the planned Temporary Working Group is presented at one of the consortium’s Friday Round Table Meetings before the application is submitted in order to receive constructive feedback. To arrange an appointment, please contact the Scientific Director Christin Keller (German Archaeological Institute).
The establishment of a TWG will be decided by the NFDI4Objects Steering Committee (SC). To submit your TWG proposal to the Steering Committee, please upload it via the Community Hub.

Once a TWG has been approved, the date of the constituent meeting, which you set within the initiative group, will be announced on the NFDI4Objects communication channels (newsletter, website, social media).
