QGIS workshop for beginners
Workshop of the AG Digitalisierung of the Dachverband Archäologischer Studierendenvertretungen e.V. (DASV e.V.) with the support of NFDI4Objects
The AG Digitalisierung of the Dachverband Archäologischer Studierendenvertretungen e.V. (DASV e.V.) is offering a QGIS workshop series this year.
Organised by two students, the first virtual meeting took place on 31 January 2025. The topic was a basic introduction to QGIS and the processing of a first small project.

For the second workshop, the digitalisation working group asked Kai-Christian Bruhn from NFDI4Objects. Together, we got straight into the planning.

In terms of content, the workshop is again aimed at beginners, whereby you can contribute to the selection of topics until 20 July. A Google form is available for this purpose.
After the workshop there will be an open plenary session for questions.
No previous knowledge is required for the workshop!
We use the QGIS version 3.40 “Bratislava”.
The DASV e.V. is an association of student councils, professional associations and other representatives of archaeological study programmes from all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The DASV e.V. Digitalization Working Group, together with NFDI4Objects, invites you to the third QGIS workshop, which will be held digitally on January 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
Coordinate reference systems (CRS) will be the main topic of the 90-minute session.
