TA 6: Qualification, Integration and Harmonisation
Task Area 6 ‘Qualification, Integration and Harmonisation’ combines two central aspects of the consortium and takes up the results from the other task areas. On the one hand, the task area provides knowledge of research data management in the NFDI4Objects community and supports its integration into training and teaching (qualification part). On the other hand, we bring together the research and metadata developed in the community with the aim of integrated digital representation of object biographies (Harmonization & Integration part).
Qualification
- We are developing a competence framework for research data management in the subject area of NFDI4Objects, which is to be integrated into curricula and from which qualification profiles for RDM employees will be derived.
- Together with the other task areas, we are developing FAIR Open Educational Resources (OER) for our community and, together with the community, we are developing standards for OER in the subject area of NFDI4Objects. Existing teaching materials on RDM are collected as preparation in the NFDI4Objects incubator.
- We regularly offer workshops, training courses and teaching formats and promote the exchange of information on qualification measures in research data management.

Harmonization & integration
- An overview of the metadata and standards data, vocabularies, ontologies and data formats used in the other task areas and collected in the surveys will be compiled and the needs of the community will be identified.
- Together with the other task areas, we are developing a standardized data model for the creation of digital object biographies and a core data set for the description of object data.
- The digital modeling of object biographies will be demonstrated using various use cases in the virtual research environment WissKI.
