NFDI4Objects at Fishbowl-Discussion of AG TidA

The Theories in Archaeology working group is focussing on the topic of ‘Digitality and Archaeology’ this year. The focus is on a critical and reflective examination of central questions and aspects relating to big/open data, open science, research data management, artificial intelligence, digital methods, etc. in archaeology. To this end, TidA is also working with NFDI4Objects, among others.

The kick-off event for the main topic is the fishbowl discussion “Digital Minds or Digital Mines? Digitality and Archaeology” on 9 September 2025 at the conference of the Antiquities Associations in Frankfurt (Oder).

Fabian Fricke will take part in the discussion on behalf of NFDI4Objects.

Further information can be found on the TidA website and in the associated activity on our website.
