Workshop discussion on digital provenance research

The TWG ‘Services and Tools for Research Collections and Provenance Research’ of the Community Cluster Digital Provenance Research of NFDI4Objects, together with SODa, invites you to a workshop discussion on the topic of resources, services and tools for provenance research!

Over the past few months, the TWG has compiled a collection of links that bundles resources, digital applications and services for provenance research across different topics and contexts. This has provided a status quo of current digital resources in provenance research. User interfaces have been developed for both NFDI4Objects and SODa in order to provide beginners or career changers in provenance research with a compact overview to get started.

In a joint workshop report on Wednesday, 15 October 2025 from 1 to 2 pm, Angela Berthold (Münzkabinett, SMB / NFDI4Objects) and Gabriele Zöllner (SODa) will report on the work in the Temporary Working Group and the resulting applications.
