Invitation to the student colloquium on Numismatic shops in Berlin from 1933 onwards
on January 29, 2026
On Thursday, January 29, at 6 p.m., we cordially invite you to the study hall of the Coin Cabinet at the Bode Museum. Students from Humboldt University who participated in the course Numismatic Provenance Research: Digital Resources and Methods during the current winter semester will present their own research in short lectures.
Following the laying of a Stolperstein for Philipp Lederer in December, we focused on other Berlin coin dealers and coin shops that were active after 1933 as part of the course. The biography and trading activities of Felix Schlessinger, Robert Ball Nachf., Edmund Rappaport, and Waldemar Wruck will be discussed in the colloquium.
6 p.m. (sharp) to approx. 8 p.m., study room of the Coin Cabinet in the Bode Museum.
