Invitation to the session on march 11, 2026 on the subject of buildings in the GND

On March 11, 2026, at 1 p.m., the CC Authority Files and Community-driven Vocabularies invites you to the next cluster meeting on the topic of buildings in the GND.

As part of the GND4C project, semi-automatic workflows for batch importing data into the GND were developed, in which the Thuringian University and State Library in Jena was also involved.

In this project, Michael Marchert prepared Thuringian church buildings for import with the help of Python scripts and OpenRefine in coordination with the GND committees. He will report on his approach and the challenges involved.
