Contributions from NFDI4Objects

NFDI4Objects is represented with several contributions:

In the workshopCollections as research data. Data use as a joint task” will discuss how the tasks and roles of data providers, researchers and data competence centres should be developed in order to promote data-driven research with collections.

The presentationNetworking conservation knowledge digitally - from textual documentation to machine-readable terms’ presents a concept for a digital thesaurus that makes conservation-restoration knowledge accessible to both humans and machines. The concept was developed as part of a use case in TA4.

The posterOntologies as the key to conservation and restoration documentation’ (with SODa) deals with the question of how complex documentation data can be meaningfully structured, networked and made usable in the long term, and shows the added value that ontologies can offer in this area.

The posterFAIR and green. Sustainability in research data management made visible and practically thought” (with the DHd AG Greening DH) explains ecological aspects of research data management.
