Invitation to the 4th quarterly meeting 2025 on December 11, 2025!

The last meeting of the CC “Digital Provenance Research” in 2025 will take place on Thursday, December 11, at 1:00 p.m.

Here are the access details for the online meeting: https://spk-berlin.webex.com/meet/a.berthold

In addition to reviewing the topics and results of 2025, we also want to take a look ahead to 2026!

Reports and contributions are very welcome!

The main topic of the meeting will be a report on research into the Berlin coin and antiquities dealer Philipp Lederer.

From 1910 onwards, he had his home and business premises at Am Kupfergraben 4, opposite Museum Island. Philipp Lederer had earned his doctorate in Munich on a numismatic topic and had conducted and published numismatic studies throughout his life.

Due to his close relationship with the Berlin Coin Cabinet, the latter initiated the laying of a Stolperstein in front of his former place of work. This will take place on Tuesday, December 2, at 3:00 p.m. in Berlin. You are also cordially invited to this event!

For those who cannot be in Berlin, we would like to summarize the research on Philipp Leder and his acquisitions at the CC meeting. Christoph Klose from the Berlin Coin Cabinet and Georg Gerleigner from the Central Archive of the Berlin State Museums will contribute to this.
