Invitation to the meeting on 18 August 2025 with special topic ‘Dating’

The Community Cluster ‘Protected Heritage Sites’ invites all interested parties to the next meeting on Monday, 18 August 2025 from 11:00-13:00 online via Zoom. In this session we will focus on the topic of “Dating”. Everyone is cordially invited and encouraged to bring examples from their own institutions and data systems as well as invite colleagues.

Questions to be discussed include:

• How should dating be specified? Absolute or relative, from/to?
• Can the dating be specified using a (multi-level) thesaurus?
• Is a further field required for additional, supplementary dating information?
