Brief Report on Meeting “Windows on data: Objects and Methods” online

On 2nd December 2025, a cross-consortium online workshop was held, organized by NFDI4Objects, MaRDI, and NFDI4ING. The aim was to develop a common understanding of research questions, data models, and infrastructures based on the use case of medieval stained glass and to lay the foundation for sustainable interdisciplinary collaborationNumerous institutions and the NFDI consortia DAPHNE, MaRDI, MatWerk, NFDI4Culture, NFDI4ING, and NFDI4Objects were represented. After an introduction to the goals and structure of the NFDI, the CVMA was presented as a central use case. Short keynote speeches from different disciplines formed the basis for an open discussion about future collaborations and joint data strategies.
