Networkmeeting NFDI Berlin-Brandenburg
Invitation to the meeting on may 19, 2026
The next meeting of the NFDI network will take place in Berlin-Brandenburg on May 19, 2026.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the topic of “Provenance and Reproducibility” will be discussed at Wikimedia Deutschland – Gesellschaft zur Förderung Freien Wissens e. V. (Wikimedia Germany – Society for the Promotion of Free Knowledge) in a flexible, open workshop with approximately 50 participants on site.
While provenance tells the “story” of the origin of the data, reproducibility is the scientific “proof” that this story can be repeated with the same results. In the workshop, all related aspects (concepts, standards, metadata, tools, etc.) of provenance and reproducibility may be of interest, e.g., object biographies, RO crates, FAIR digital objects, reproducible workflows.
Participants are invited to contribute to this meeting in the form of a short presentation or demo that fits the topic and could also be of interest to other consortia.
Please indicate your contribution on the registration form.
Registration deadline: April 30, 2026
Location: Wikimedia Deutschland – Gesellschaft zur Förderung Freien Wissens e. V.
(Tempelhofer Ufer 23/24, 10963 Berlin)
