Digital Archaeology as a Critical Archaeology of the Digital
Abstracts for presentations and posters for a session organized by the TidA Working Group in cooperation with Propylaeum & NFDI4Objects at the joint annual conference of the classical studies associations on September 22, 2026, in Bonn may be submitted until May 29, 2026.
Digitization, Digital Humanities, and FAIR data are frequently recurring buzzwords in current academic debates that will profoundly and permanently transform daily work and routines. For this session, we are seeking contributions that address the opportunities, potential, and obstacles of digitalization, thereby critically reflecting on the role of digital archaeology.
