Workshop of the coordinators of the humanities NFDI consortia

Meeting in Mainz of NFDI4Objects, NFDI4Culture, NFDI4Memory and Text+

The coordinators of the four humanities NFDI consortia met in Mainz for two days (19/20 March) to exchange ideas and further intensify their collaboration.

The focus was on common topics, different perspectives from the consortia and the desire to utilise synergies in an even more targeted manner in the future. There was plenty of room for open discussions, strategic considerations and informal dialogue - both during the meetings and in between. The direct personal contact, which is often neglected in virtual collaboration, was particularly valuable.

The workshop was experienced as enriching and motivating by all participants. A continuation of the format is already under discussion - with the clear aim of continuing to work closely together.
